2019 has been a bumper year for cars already, and it only looks set to get better. With supercars in the wings by everyone from Porsche to Mercedes, the chances are that you get green around the gills thinking about it. And, ever since you laid eyes on the upcoming Ferrari 488 Pista Spider, you haven’t been able to get it out of your mind. That’s not any surprise when you consider that this 211mph convertible dream can go from 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds. As if that weren’t enough, it comes complete with a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. And, it looks about as badass as its name suggests. The compromise is that it also has a £275,000 price tag. That’s not a sum most of us can dig up anytime soon. Does this mean, then, that the new Ferrari is forever out of your reach? Do you have to make do with a car which doesn’t suit you anymore? Perhaps not.
